Our Team
We are a collective of dedicated architects, interior designers and project managers that is focused on delivering hospitality projects. We have successfully designed and delivered hotel projects across the Middle East, Asia and Africa. All aspects of our work from visualization to construction detailing are carried out in house and under one roof. The studio’s relies on deep industry knowledge and extensive hospitality experience in creating unique designs. Founding Partners
Christian Merieau & Anil Mangalat founded MMAC Design Associates in 2013. Having designed for over 100 hotels the duo bring a wealth of hospitality design experience to their projects.
After completing his early education in hotel administration, Christian earned a degree in Interior Design in 1989 and later qualified as an Interior Architect in Geneva, Switzerland. He transitioned from Managing Director at a prestigious Swiss architectural firm to become an entrepreneur. With 30 years of experience, he has led teams across prominent architectural, interior design, and construction practices in Switzerland, France, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates.
Anil is a qualified architect with a master’s degree in Interior Design from Domus Academy in Milan. Before founding MMAC, he led the design department at a Geneva-based firm. With over two decades of professional experience, Anil has successfully executed projects across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. His expertise includes leading major developments and managing large-scale initiatives with multiple stakeholders, demonstrating his capacity to navigate complex environments and deliver successful results.
